Templates, undo/redo in the flow editor, contrast mode, agent export and outbound calls
Agents and flows
- Create agents from templates. When creating an agent, you choose between an empty agent and a template with ready-made instructions, connectors and flow. See Create an agent from a template.
- Undo and redo in the flow editor. You can reverse every change to the draft with the buttons or
Ctrl+Z. See Undo and redo. - Confirmation dialogs in the flow editor. Before deleting a state, changing a type or importing a flow, the editor names what gets lost.
- Flow import into several agents. You can now import the same flow into any number of agents and tenants. Previously, identical state IDs could collide between two agents. Existing drafts remain unchanged.
- Export and import agents. You can export a complete agent as JSON via the API and import it as a new agent. Credentials, phone number and versions are not transferred. See Export and import agents and API access.
Tools and integrations
- New built-in tool for the caller’s number. With
get_caller_phone_number, the agent reads the caller’s phone number and detects withheld numbers. See Built-in tools. - OAuth client credentials for MCP servers. In addition to Bearer token and API key, you can now connect an MCP server via client credentials. msg.Hello obtains and renews the access token itself. See Connecting an MCP server.
- Outbound calls (API). With
POST /tenants/{tid}/bots/{botId}/outbound-calls, an agent calls a phone number. This requires an active live version and a phone number stored on the agent. See Outbound calls.
Portal
- Contrast mode. In the top navigation, you choose between Light, Dark and Contrast mode. See Display and language.
- Language selection in the navigation. You now switch the interface language directly in the top navigation. Dates and times follow the selected language.
- Contrast check for the primary color. The portal warns you if a primary color does not reach the minimum contrast of 4.5:1.
- Link to the documentation in the sidebar.
- Accessibility. All functions can be operated by keyboard, including the panel dividers in the flow editor and in the test call as well as the states in the flow graph. Headings, lists and revealed content are marked up semantically. See Accessibility.
- No error telemetry to third parties. The portal no longer sends error reports to an external monitoring service.
Sign-in and security
- Stricter PKCE checks. Public OIDC clients must use PKCE with
S256. If a code challenge was sent during sign-in, the matching verifier is now required when retrieving the token. Confidential clients such as the msg.Hello portals are not affected. See API access. - Token introspection. The identity service offers the endpoint
/protocol/oidc/introspectaccording to RFC 7662. See Validate tokens. - Global roles for custom OIDC clients. You can now assign a tenant’s custom OIDC clients the tenant’s standard roles in addition to custom roles. This lets a machine client access the API directly via client credentials. See API access.
Telephony and operations
- Connection via SIP domains. Agents are additionally reachable via a SIP address whose user part is the agent ID. This lets your phone system forward calls directly to an agent. See Telephony connection.
- SIP headers as metadata. For incoming calls, msg.Hello stores the SIP header
Fromas session metadata. - GPT-Live as voice model. In addition to OpenAI Realtime and Azure OpenAI Realtime, operators can configure OpenAI GPT-Live as the provider.
